| I know that you say you trust your mechanic, but are you absolutely sure that your Z is running at its absolute best. We have all seen Z's with the best parts money could buy that were not put together right and ran no where near their potential. Greg D. is in SoCal, so have him give it a once over if there is any doubt. Assuming that it is running at it's absolutely best, sport 500's are not that big of a turbo upgrade. I personally tell people that if they just want to replace stock turbos, save some money and just buy the sport 500's instead. I am curious why you picked sport 500's to begin with. There are other turbos out there with more potential that can be daily driven as well. Are you saying that you have nearly $80K in your Z already because that is what a GTR is going to run if you are lucky enough to get it at MSRP. Most GTR's are going for 10-25K above MSRP. Base model: 69850 CA Tax: 5763 CA DMV Fees 529 Destination charge: 1000 Total 77142 It gets to a point where it where some of these high powered Z's have so much power it is difficult to use all that power on the street anyways. My Z which has gone through a couple of iterations and now scares me on the streets and that is why I am not spending anymore money on it and have a GT-R on order. I will never sell my Z as I think it is a classic especially in terms of styling. The GT-R just does not have the clean classy look of the almighty Z32.
